Nothing to say

Nothing to say.

Sometimes it happens.

Silence is needed.

Instead, we talk.

Triviality.

We fill the void with emptiness.

We fear we might have to face ourselves.

We play it safe.

Same painting, same song, same sentence.

Over and over again.

Looking within can be terrifying.

Something to say.

It probably happens every day.

Courage is required.

Still, we freeze.

Silence.

Saying something meaningful is risky.

It may not work.

What will they say?

It takes guts to speak from the heart.

In a sentence or in a painting. In a song or in an act.

As Francis Bacon once said,

“If you decide to be a painter, you have to decide that you are not afraid to make a fool of yourself.”

I guess it also works if you decide to be yourself.
